Act I, reach
A decision has a reach.
Four levels sit on one dimension: the decision authority a person holds over AI use, and the reach of the consequence that follows. Lay the courses and the wall carries itself.
Level 1
Aware
A course rests on the course beneath it. Level 4 cannot stand without levels 1 to 3 holding it up, which is the whole claim of the model expressed as load rather than as an assertion.
Act II, measure
Evidence earns its place four ways.
Authenticity, sufficiency, relevance, and currency apply at every level, so each course carries all four. Light any stones you like, in any order, across any courses.
A criterion means something different at each level. The stone is where the level and the criterion meet, and the answer is what the organization records. Light stones to gather them here, in the order you chose them.
Currency carries the weight in this domain, because a model that summarized text last quarter may act on its own this quarter. Its stone is cut heavier in every course.
Act III, place
A role occupies a band, not a course.
Job title predicts nothing on its own. What places a person is the authority they hold and the reach of what follows. Select a role to see the courses it bears on.
Illustrative examples
Article 4 reaches past employees to the other persons operating AI systems on the organization's behalf, so the placement covers all of them.
This list illustrates and does not close. Placing roles as fixed courses would claim that legal always outranks procurement. The band survives the first person who checks.
Act IV, ready
Readiness is the wall that closes.
The same wall, drawn rather than built. Four rounds, three questions each, and each round specifies one course. The coping goes on at sixteen of sixteen.
